"I dislike the second edition, but don’t want to go through the hassle of returning and waiting for the new one. All of the legacy texts are my preferred. The new editions are less emphasis on repetition. "
"I help my children using the Handwriting for Young Catholics books all the way from the first book to the 5th grade level I believe. I think I are wonderfully simple in their progression, they allow the child plenty of practice and introduce them to good writing practices. The younger grades do such an excellent job of just practicing the letters with small words. We love that there are color pictures of beautiful churches and Catholic art throughout these books. My children frequently rip the pages out to hang on the walls after they have completed them because the artwork is edifying! I have tried three different writing programs for penmanship and this is by far my favorite. "

"I purchased for my 4 yr old to keep her busy over the summer. The quality is much better than I expected and she excitedly does a week's worth of pages in one sitting. There are also simple rhyming words that can she can easily sound out and read following rules she has learned through other reading programs. I am online now searching for more materials for the summer because we are going to finish this one soon!"
