I bought this for my high schooler who has been trying to get through Algebra I for two years. Since neither my husband nor I even remember most of this (and I struggled with it in high school), we just couldn't help him. We had the D.I.V.E. cd's, but not everything was explained. Although we had a tutor give him some help, that wasn't working well either. Once he had this to work with, the whole process has been MUCH easier! The lesson is taught (lady with a soft southern accent--easy to listen to) and every problem is worked out step-by-step so he can see what his mistakes were. He's now almost finished with the course and doing much better. I highly recommend Saxon Teacher.
