The story of "The Friend of Youth" is told here in a brief, yet popular manner for teenagers as well as adults. A practical joker with a great sense of humor in his youth, St. John Bosco (1815-1888) grew up to become a priest and the founder of the Order of Salesians. This story relates the many prophetic dreams he had. It tells of Our Lady calling on him and helping him to become a priest. St. John Bosco had his struggles with the devil, and much more through his dreams. But the message of these dreams were always clear: He must keep going. He must not lose faith in GOD or his mission. That he would come through to the place he belonged. Saint John Boscoe's feast day is January 31st. An easy read, and a great book for everyone. Copyright 1915, republished 2009. 4.25 x 7 inches.
